Stress Free Surfing
We are passionate about introducing surfing to kids in a fun and stress-free way. We believe that surfing is not only a thrilling outdoor activity, but also an excellent way to connect with nature, build self-confidence, and develop new skills.
Our experienced instructors understand that every child has a unique learning style and pace, and they are committed to providing the support and encouragement necessary to help each child who wishes to try learn how to love surfing. The instructors know the local waters and will take your kids to the best spot for their skills level and give personalized tips to improve techniques.
Our location is outside the congested surfing areas, keeping your kids safer and giving them more opportunities to learn.
Activities for every child
We offer a variety of activities for our campers to participate including beach games, sandcastle building, treasure hunts, body boarding, kite flying, races, ball sports, art using natural objects, and of course surfing. We want every child to feel engaged and excited about their camp experience.
Our nature based OT is skilled at designing activities that will help your child develop their motor skills, emotional regulation, and social development through fun, play based activities.
Social Connections
Regardless of their interest in surfing, your child will never be left to sit alone on the beach. Our camp is designed to provide a fun and engaging experience for all campers, with plenty of opportunities to socialize, learn new skills, and build lasting friendships.

To keep your child safe physically, we:

Employ experienced instructors and therapists who are well-versed in water safety and first aid. Our staff closely supervises all activities and maintain a low student-to-instructor ratio, ensuring personalized attention.

Conduct thorough safety briefings before each session, outlining potential hazards, emergency procedures, and safe practices to follow while in the water.

Continuously monitor weather and ocean conditions to determine if it is safe to carry out activities. We adapt our plans accordingly to prioritize the safety and well-being of our campers.

About The Camp

Please provide your child with a water bottle, towel, snack, and lunch each day.

We will provide sunscreen, but feel free to send sunscreen with your child if you feel inclined. We also provide an excellent selection of soft top surfboards.

Camp starts at 9am and ends at 12pm.

When camp starts we will practice pop ups, stretch, and get warmed up to head out to the ocean.

Camp surfers will paddle out around 9:15-9:25 and will surf until around 11:45am

Camp surfers will take a quick break around 10:30 for snacks, water, and sunscreen application. If your child wants to take a break or doesn't wish to surf anymore they will head to the sand to participate in beach activities.

At about 11:30 we will get out of the water and get everyone ready to head out.

Camp will be located at 20th ave South Jacksonville beach Fl 32250. Parking is scarce in that area which is what makes it able to be in a remote location away from the hustle and bustle of jax beach. There is parking at 21st ave south, Huguenot Park at the intersection of 2nd street S and 17th Ave south just a quick walk away from the camp if you would like to come and hang out. There is also a big parking lot at 16th ave S.

I will keep an eye on the weather and will contact parents if there is dangerous weather approaching.

On days where the surf is too dangerous or not conducive to surfing all campers will play games and just make it a fun beach day.

Any days that we just can't do the camp due to weather you can pick a day/days another week to bring your child.

If your child can't attend one of the days during the week you can also just bring them to camp one day another week free of charge.
